Process planning and process verification based on the development of new products are carried out through collaboration with production-related teams. In carrying out the process of developing new products, it forms a manufacturing environment optimized for cost reduction, improved processing process and material flow.Process planning and process verification based on the development of new products are carried out through collaboration with production-related teams. - Proceed with verification and validation of the manufacturing process of the new machined part. If necessary, new equipment, cutting tools, fixtures, and NC programs can be introduced.
- Proceed process improvement and quality improvement within the planned project period.
- Quality improvement tasks should be carried out through the use of quality improvement tools e.g. QC7
- The project jobholder is to control the project, analyse the root cause from the issue and potential risk as well as present solutions for it.
- Introducing and training new manufacturing process to ops engineer with appropriate SOP when the new products are handed over to ‘operation’ team. (transfer and training)
- Seamless collaboration with NPI team and communication with ops team are required for project performance and handover.
- Preparation of CEP and ‘cost to manufacturing’ process management for new projects need to be carried out.
- Design and set up an efficient, competitive and optimized material flow.
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automotive engineering or industrial engineering
Relevant Previous Experience:
- Advanced manufacturing or operation process planning experience minimum of 3 years
- Experience minimum of 2 years for NPI process and installation new product from R&D to operation
Language Skills:
- English – Intermediate degree for reading, writing and speaking

- Operation and knowledge of CNC machinces
- Knowledge of CNC tooling and Fixtures
- Problem solving skills in machining field
- Usage and understanding of ERP systems
- Management of E-BOM and P&M BOM for new & existing Product
- Usage of 2D and 3D Design software
- Usage of CAM Software
- Understanding the meaning of Drawings and GD&T
- Basics of Statistical process control
- Microsoft Office
