LCV EUCOM OEW Germany: Logistics Warehouseman – ContingencyJob Overview:
Under general supervision of the Dining Facility Manager/Supervisor, performs the following duties:
- Custodial and housekeeping duties, Receiving, storing, issuing, inventory management and security of Warehouse/CL1.
- Assures that all warehouse storage equipment and facilities are properly maintained, and the storage areas are clean and organized.
- Assures that the highest sanitation/cleanliness standards are maintained inside all coolers, freezers, dry storage containers and warehouse.
- Assures Temperature Checks are conducted four times daily and annotated on Temperature Log.
- Notify Warehouse Foreman and/or DFAC Manager/Supervisor of any equipment deficiencies immediately.
- Assures adherence to receiving, storing, issuing and inventory management Standards.
- Under direct supervision of Food Service Manager/Supervisor and Chef, performs a variety of tasks associated with Food deliveries. I.E., Checks truck manifest to ensure all ordered products are delivered and in satisfactory condition.
- Ensures that delivery truck paperwork and seals’ match.
- Checks the internal temperature meter upon opening the refrigerated trailer to ensure the load remained at the prescribed temperatures during transport.
- If truck contents are not at the proper temperature, informs the Manager/Supervisor and USG representative to verify/advise on disposition of the load.
- Check product expiration dates and ensures a (FIFO) “first in-first out” is maintained throughout the operation on all products.
- Ensures Inventories are conducted according to contractual requirements. Follows all instructions and completes tasks as directed by Food Service Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensures that all FFV is quality checked upon receipt and daily thereafter. Ensures that proper PPE is available and always in use.
- Assure compliance with all KBR Policies and Procedures found in the Warehouse/CL1 PWS, Work Instructions and USG regulatory documents.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience. AFMIS/STORES experience is advantageous. Capable of working with minimal supervision. Prior LOGCAP experience preferred.
